The one who is born is sure to die and after death is also certain to be reborn. Therefore, you should not grieve in your unavoidable duty.
Readiness: - A man has to take birth according to his deeds and at the end of a karma-period, he has to die, so that he can take a second birth. Thus, this cycle of death goes on without attaining liberation. This cycle of birth and death does not support elder killing, slaughter war, but violence and war are indispensable for maintaining peace and order in human society.
The battle of Kurukshetra was inevitable due to the will of God and to fight for the truth is the religion of the Kshatriyas. So why was he fearful or mournful about the death of his kinsmen while performing his duty? He did not want to break the law (law) because by doing so he would have to bear the fruits of the sinful actions he was extremely afraid of. While performing his duty, he could not prevent the death of the kinsmen and if he had to choose the duty-way, he would have to fall down.
